Donja Joseph has been teaching ballet at StudioE for 32 years. She received her training from Ginger Burke and Paul Hangauer in Buffalo, N.Y. She performed in shows at Studio Theater in Buffalo, and at the University of Buffalo. She also studied at The Canadian National Ballet School in Toronto, and Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. Her teachers included Michael Lland, Violette Verdi, Scott Douglass, Lillian Moore, and Robert Joffrey. Donja was awarded the first ballet scholarship prize from the Buffalo Ballet Guild which she took to the Joffrey Ballet School. The scholarship was extended by the school.

She then worked in the Ballet Company of Radio City Music Hall for seven years under choreographers Marc Platt, Jim Klauser and Peter Genaro.

Donja has studied Kinesiology and has attended The Symposium for the Medical Aspects of Dance.

At StudioE, she has taught ballet as well as created many story ballets to give the students an opportunity to experience performing.
