All the teachers are qualified professionals and committed to their students and the art of dance. Each teacher has performed professionally and Studio E prides themselves on having a staff that's been with them for a long time too. That says alot about the wonderful atmosphere of StudioE.

Laura Di Orio

Laura Di Orio, originally from Pennsylvania, began her dance training at the Mill Ballet School with Mark and Melissa Roxey. There, she performed frequently with the Roxey Ballet in classical ballets and original repertory pieces. She went on to train at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and spent one year in the Joffrey/New School University BFA program. Laura then went on to receive her BA in Journalism from Fordham University and has been a contributing writer for Pointe Magazine, Dance Informa and a number of other dance publications. She has danced professionally with the Albano Ballet and in works by choreographers David Fernandez, Tucker Davis and Royce Zackery, among others. Laura is currently a member of the Staten Island Ballet and Lydia Johnson Dance, a contemporary ballet company. She has taught ballet at Broadway Dance Center and Arias Dance NYC. Laura currently serves as a ballet substitute for Kat Wildish at the Alvin Ailey Extension Program and as a teaching artist with Ballet Ambassadors. Laura thanks her teachers, past and present, and her family and friends for their love and support, and she is honored to be a part of the warm, talented family at Studio E.
