Ballet Class Description
The barre is to prepare
the student for center work.
At an even more primary
state, the muscular activity
at the barre is designed
to lengthen, strengthen,
tone, and elongate the muscles
of the body. Consequently
this results in a heighten
level of endurance, balance,
coordination, inner and
outer strength of the extremities,
and most importantly the
bodies core.
